SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSI got stuck a few times, and was able to achieve progress only after looking up the solutions:-I never bothered trying to put the horse to sleep by reading him the science textbook. That was probably the only item I didn’t use on the horse before giving up and googling the solution.-I didn’t realize that I could switch the beds and trick the cat into forsaking his toy for longer.-I never bothered trying to push the old lady out of her surveillance room. It seemed like an out of character thing to do for the guy. I remember back in the day I got the 'CD-ROM Enhanced' version of the game and if I'm not mistaken it actually came with a walkthrough! It was a long time ago so I'm not sure but I think it did. Now as for getting stuck and using it, I think yeah I had to-once or twice. I don't think it was that comprehensive a walkthrough either, but again memory not too clear about it.
Wish I could find it but I'll be I threw it out long ago.I think I didn't get the game until like 1995 or 96 though (definitely not in 93 when it came out since I didn't even have a PC then), so that might not have been packaged with the original release. There actually was an Internet when I played it too, though it was very primitive and basically I was accessing it mainly from school at the time. (Home access was limited to stuff like CompuServe and AOL, along with text-based freenet services.) Don't think I used the internetfor DOTT but I remember Sega Sages and GameFAQs pretty fondly. The former of which eventually became IGN, for those that don't know.
